Button Up Podcast Christian Women’s Healing, Trauma Recovery, Confidence & Leadership

A space for healing, clarity, and Christ‑anchored leadership

Button Up Podcast was born from a long journey — one marked by deep wounds, unexpected detours, corporate leadership, and the steady hand of God guiding every step. After decades of leading teams, navigating high‑pressure environments, and carrying responsibilities that shaped both strength and scars, I found myself in a season where God invited me to heal, rebuild, and rise again — this time with Him at the center of everything.

As He restored me, He also revealed the assignment: to help Christian women heal deeply, rise confidently, and step into the leadership God has placed within them.

This podcast is where that calling comes to life.

I bring the wisdom of 35 years in leadership, the compassion of a woman who has walked through trauma and transformation, and the faith of a daughter shaped by a father whose Christian values still echo in my heart. His influence — his integrity, his steadiness, his belief in doing things the right way — is woven into every episode.

Here, you’ll find conversations that blend healing and growth, faith and clarity, emotional safety and bold leadership. We talk about identity, purpose, boundaries, restoration, and the courage it takes to rise after life has knocked you down. We explore what it means to lead — not just in business, but in your home, your community, your ministry, and your God‑given calling.

If you’re a Christian woman who has walked through hard things… If you’re rebuilding your confidence… If you’re ready to rise into the leader God designed you to be… You’re in the right place.

This is your space to heal. Your space to grow. Your space to rise — with Christ at the center.

Welcome to Button Up Podcast. I’m honored to walk this journey with you.

In this powerful episode of Button Up with Polly, we dig into the tension women often feel when healing begins to change how we show up, especially around the people who raised us. Polly shares her Southern roots, the patterns she inherited, and the truth God revealed: growth isn’t betrayal. Healing doesn’t mean leaving your people behind. With Ruth 1:16 as our anchor, this episode speaks directly to women navigating trauma recovery, leadership, family dynamics, and the guilt that comes with becoming who God is calling you to be. If you’re learning to hold your roots and your healing at the same time, this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Don't believe the lie you've grown up hearing that you were too much.  This lie has taken you into adulthood believing and making you shrink down.  God doesn't make mistakes and he created you wonderfully as you are.

When Daddy Got Sick, God Was There.
Not in loud ways. Not in dramatic ways. But in the quiet, holy moments that carried us through the hardest season of our lives. I didn’t always understand what God was doing, but I never doubted that He was near. His comfort became the anchor I held onto when everything else felt unsteady.
If you’re facing sickness, grief, or a season that feels too heavy to carry, I want to share the Scriptures that carried me.
I created Seven Scriptures for Healing, a free resource filled with the verses God used to strengthen me when my heart was breaking.
If you’d like it, message me or tap the link www.buttonupsolutions.com/scriptures
And if you’re in Arkansas and want to attend my upcoming Christian women’s one‑day conference, email me or send a DM. I’ll add you to the first‑to‑know list before registration opens.
Seats will be limited, and I want you to have the chance to be in the room.
God is still present. Still healing. Still holding you close.
